Jesus’ spoke eight times from the Cross. Seven is the Biblical number of Spiritual Perfection. Jesus’ seventh announcement was to announce the completion of the New Covenant in His Blood, as we shall see. Eight is the Bible numeric for Resurrection , and His eighth announcement concerning His death also foretold His Resurrection, according to Biblical Numerics.
Jesus’ sayings from the Cross were as follows:
- “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
- “Today thou shalt be with me in Paradise.”
- “Behold thy mother.”
- “Woman behold thy son.”
- “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?”
- “I thirst.”
- “It is finished.”
- “Father! Into thy hands I commit my spirit.”
